Every time I leave for a few days, they re-arrange the government

I spent two restful and happy days at Wilderstead. In my absence, the Supreme Court managed to produce one of the singularly screwiest decisions I've ever seen. I'm fed up with all three branches of government. None of them could pour pee out of a boot with instructions written under the heel. Ecrasez l'Infame.

That aside, nothin' but good news to report, personally. Got some small items for Philmont at Bass Pro in Fairfield. I got the tractor going and practiced scraping my road to keep the weeds down. Did some minor chores that didn't strain anything but made me feel like I was getting something done. Re-read most of one of my favorite books. And generally enjoyed my beautiful, peaceful holler. I feel much better, fitter, less stressed. Life is good. In checking my security camera, I got this nice closeup, which I think you'll enjoy. : )
