Learning to lead

We were small but mighty today as our happy Crew of Venturers gathered for our first-ever Introduction to Leadership Skills course (ILS). This is the course that replaces the old Venturing Leadership Skills Course (VLSC). We went through three modules with lectures, discussion, and games covering Organization, Communication, and Teamwork.

All the youth did very well. I'm looking forward to going to Philmont with this bunch. They're going to be a fun Crew. I think they'll look out for each other and care that each member of the Crew gets the most from the experience.
